The British Library credits a slightly different edition of this book to Thomas Lecount and Peter Roscoe. That edition was published in 1839. This edition has no authors given, nor a publication date. It is in the original publisher's green cloth, the style of which suggesting that this would be not much later than that 1839 edition. This copy has 19 full page steel engraved plates including the frontispiece, and is illustrated in the text with numerous wood cuts, all of which illustrate the journey on these two lines. The two lines are paginated separately. The text is relatively clean and bright but the plates are foxed, sometimes quite heavily and this often offsets onto the surrounding pages. One of the plates is detached and simply laid into the book. Interior hinges just starting. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Category: Railways;
