Chatto & Windus, 1939, Softcover, Book Condition: Good, Dust Jacket Condition: No, First, Illustrated By: H. A. Rey

A completely charming children's book by an illustrator best known for the character "Curious George". This book is a series of ten illustrations showing the 'abode' of different animals or people and half the page is a downward flap that can reveal the creature or person 'at home' when lifted. Beautiful full colour illustrations. This copy has lost an inch of the blue paper spine where it wraps around to the front and there are a few unwarranted flat creases here and there. Overall still in good condition. Size: Quarto. Illustrator: H. A. Rey. Category: Children;
