A fascinating and huge tome containing all the details of running a large number of hospitals of all kinds (even boys' training ships) across Victorian London and parts of Kent too we note. This volume appears to have escaped from Caterham Asylum. The minutes are indexed at the front and there are numerous fold out sheets throughout, often being financial accounts and the like. Bound in leather and cloth, the leather on the spine is dry and cracked and the corners bumped and rubbed. The book is in no danger and remains solidly bound. Category: Genealogy & Local History; History.
