X, 506 pages, in original light blue cloth covered boards, with gilt titling to the spine section. Bumping to the head of the spine. Slight darkening of the edges of the pages, and a suggestion of a watermark at the top edge towards the spine, but there is no corollary damage to the pages. The dustjacket is darkened on the spine section, has a tracing of insect damage at the lower left-hand corner of the rear panel, rubbing and splitting at the fold over crease, a 2 inch tear with associated creasing at the top right of the rear panel, and a 0.5 inch tear at the bottom left of the front panel, and rubbing and chipping at the top of the spine section. This edition covers creative literature in Australia to the end of 1950. The original book has been under the guidance of the editor completely revised and rearranged. The method of presentation has been simplified by arranging the items in an alphabetical list of authors, giving under each of them a classified list of publications, with dates and publishers' names.
