The lectures were 1st uttered in the 1860s. This collection does not have a publication date, and I'm guessing that it was just after the turn-of-the-century. Top edge gilded. The spine section which has gilt titling has faded to a pale red. Apart from very light rubbing of the corners of the boards in the top and tail of the spine there is no other damage to describe.
