On the title page the title continues "one and only copy bound book bought by DMF Wilson (November 27, 1977) here with "the private as the social meeting place" W Billeter 26 .11.77 no library no. FM". There are some handling marks to the matte binding and a pale stain to the top right-hand corner of the rear panel. ". According to "a Guide to Gay and Lesbian Writing in Australia", by Michael Hurley, this book was written in 1985. A similar reference to 1985 is made by the National Library of Australia, however the final page has facsimile 17th of December 1977 and the author's signature (also in facsimile) which is somewhat incongruous given that the dates of the start the book were November.
