Musee de l'Homme par Societe des Amis du Musee de l'Homme, 1967, Softcover, Book Condition: Very Good, Dust Jacket Condition: No, First, Illustrated By: Photographic

1.0 kg; not paginated, (the text block is 1.7 cm thick), illustrated photographically, by José Oster, with the exception of plate number 50 which was by Adolf Studly. There are 158 black-and-white images in the catalogue, with the introductory section of the book being a list of the artists, and their comments on their relationship with the arts of black Africa, Oceania, pre-Columbian America and "archaique" Japan (I cannot quite get the flavour of the word to translate although it probably means pre-contact with the West Japan). The book is a softcover binding, with self attached photographic illustrated wrappers and fold over flap's. There is a slight rubbing of both top and bottom edges, but otherwise the book is in very good condition. Please note the text of the book is in French. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Photographic. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Art & Design; Art -- Australian; Art -- Sculpture; Art -- Primitive; Inventory No: 0228411.
