On trial for his life was Dr. Geza de Kaplany, a brilliant physician, a member of an aristocratic Hungarian family, who coldly and deliberately bathed his beautiful wife, with acid, inflicting burns caused her death, 31 agonising days later. The dust jacket is slightly rubbed at the top and bottom of the spine section, with a half inch tear at the bottom left of the front panel, and there is on the front free end page a stain from a sticker.
