Macmillan, 1972, Hardcover, Book Condition: Very Good, Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good, First
400 g; 224 pages, in original boards, with original photographic dust jacket. The dust jacket has a 0.5 inch tear hidden at the top left hand corner of the front panel, and there is a brown round stain, (my guess is the remains of an insect) with a maximum diameter of a quarter of an inch affecting the first five leaves of the book 1.5 inches from the top edge on the right-hand side. The author has created a powerful whodunnit, with its characters part native, part tourist, port naturally together before they assume the sombre guise of suspects as very violent death erupts among them. The plot is strong, it twists and turns and baffles, with its final revelation a shock that nevertheless bears the stamp of inevitability and true characterisation. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Crime Fiction; ISBN: 0333131770. ISBN/EAN: 9780333131770. Inventory No: 0224468.
