X, double page map, single page map, XI-XVI, 93, (3) pages, the last three pages being promotions for the club itself the Australian forest league, And the Victorian Naturalist, a publication of the club. Aside from some trivial flecking on the other and right-hand margin of the front board, the book shows no damage. The sewn binding is tight, the edges of the text block clean, as are the pages. In the publication of the second edition an attempt is made to bring the Census up-to-date as regards and additions and omissions, nomenclature and regional distribution.
