1.050 kg; no pagination, the text block is approximately 1 inch thick on heavy stock so my guess is for approximately 120 pages. The dating of the book has been published in the 1930s is consistent with the other books purchased at the same time. The back strip section appears to have been water damaged. The rear board which is an advertisement for Ovaltine has a small chip on the exposed edge. The front board which shows a young girl cutting the hair of a shorter child has rubbing to the edges of the board. Original bookseller's sticker tucked in at the bottom of the front pasted down. The front hinge is slack, with the end pages no longer glued to the half title page. The text is illustrated with black-and-white drawings, and some colour drawings (I think they are three colour process), and it would also seem that the young owner carefully coloured in a couple of the black-and-white illustrations.
