530 g; 286 pp., last 5 pages blank. Original brown cloth binding, text illustrated with black-and-white photographs, and line drawings, and tables. Unlike most 90-year-olds, the hinges on this book are still sound, and it does not need a Zimmer frame to support it. The cloth has some markings commensurate with its age and there is a light rubbing of the corners of the boards, exposing the cardboard beneath, the edges of the text block are slightly darkened, however the interior is clean, and bright, with page 43 having a 0.5 inch tear central to the bottom edge, and a faint stay in affecting the lower edge of pages 43 through 122 for a width of approximately 1.25 "to a depth of approximately 3/8 ".
