1.95 kg; volume I XL, 512 pages, last page blank, includes six photogravures and 15 half tones. Volume II XII, pages 513-1032, last page blank, indexed, bibliography, six photogravures, 17 half tones. BOTH VOLUMES HAVE WATER DAMAGE. Both volumes also have pencil notations in the margins. Volume II has a note of the book was taken from the owner's father's library in 1938 :-). The front hinge of volume II has been over opened. The water damage affects the top edge of the text block and starts approximately halfway from the front edge and works backwards to the spine, the quarter binding on volume II is discoloured at the top left of the front panel, the front paste-down of volume I top right-hand corner, and the fold of the front end pages on volume II show watermarking stains, and pages 356 through 360 show water staining to a depth of approximately threequarters of an inch at the spine side of the top edge.
