pp. xii, 164; frontispiece; 5 indices; original linen-backed boards, offset tanning of the front and rear end free pages, the linen has been browned, and the bottom edge of the front board has been "sun-tanned", and has a stain from a sticker. . The collection of examples of 15th century typography here catalogued is the largest available in Australia for students of the history of printing. Like its predecessor, this work is based on the comprehensive notes on the Sticht Collection prepared by Mr A. B. Foxcroft MA of the reference library. In the previous work these notes were printed in full; but as the present catalogue is rather in the nature of a checklist, only those likely to be of general interest to students of bibliography have been included. The notes will, therefore, be found to deal mainly with peculiarities of individual copies, or with departures from the normal practice of 15th-century book-making. Interesting bindings and provenances have also been noted, as well as watermarks where the leaves have been specially mounted for display purposes. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Facsimiles. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Books on Books; Inventory No: 0209694.
