Throughout the text there are black and white photographs, both modern and period. Front cover illustrated with a "negative" of photograph on front dustwrapper, with olive coloured background with white writing on spine. Previous owner's name on ffep. Photographic dustwrapper, showing a young woman circa 1960s, with orange and white writing on front panel and spine. Corners of the dustwrapper are rubbed and chipped, and on lower edge of the rear panel there is a tear measuring 1". There is fading to the dustwrapper most particularly notable on the back panel and running along the back spine gutter.
