first printed in 1907; This edition as produced by the publisher has dark red leather over the spine, and the corners, with gilt decoration on the spine, gilt top edge, the other edges being uncut, with traces of foxing visible. The binding is tight with the original dark red page marker ribbon still attached and in good order. Some of the pages and plates are affected by foxing, but overall the book is in very good condition for its age. XIII, 395 pp., 64 plate illustrations, all firmly attached.
