The text is illustrated with both black-and-white photographs and illustrations. Brown coloured cloth covered boards with gilt and black coloured titles to the backstrip. Photographic dustwrapper with black-and-white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Softening to the backstrip edges with rubbing of the book corners and lower book edges. Slight cocking of the spine, with age toning and foxing of the textblock edges. Chipping of the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. Numerous tears to the top edge, some with creasing. There is a 2 inch tear to the lower edge of the front panel with associated creasing.
