Map illustrated endpapers showing the sea voyages of Rumon & Merewyn. Navy blue coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip and pale blue coloured tint to the top textblock edge. A little bumping to the book corners. Light browning and foxing to the textblock edges and light age toning of the internal text. Previous owners rubber stamp to the lower edge of the title page, lower edge of the verso of the rear end paper and to the lower edge of the textblock. Colour illustrated dustwrapper (wraparound), by William Hofman, with white coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. Black and white photograph of author to the rear fold over panel. Rubbing and some creasing to the dustwrapper edges and very small amount of rubbing to the dustwrapper panels. There is a small chip to the lower right-hand corner of the backstrip and the backstrip is sunned. Sunning to the fold over panels and there is clipping of the dustwrapper, front fold over, top right-hand corner.
