Leslie, preface by Robert Edwards, introduction by I.E.S. Edwards, bibliography and acknowledgements. Illustrated endpapers showing some hieroglyphics. The text is illustrated with numerous colour photographs, black-and-white illustrations, maps and the occasional black-and-white photograph. Gilt embossed image of a pharaoh's head against a dark blue background to the front panel and gilt embossed titles to the lower edge of the front panel. Rubbing to the book corners and backstrip edges and there are a few white spots to the top book edges. An exhibition catalogue of Pharaonic funerary items, along with other ancient items from Egypt that was exhibited around Australia between August 1988 through to June 1989. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall.
