Before You Begin and before You Go. The text is illustrated with numerous black-and-white drawings within the text, by Vane Lindsay. Green coloured boards with white illustration to the front panel with gilt titles to the front panel and backstrip. Bumping and rubbing to the backstrip edges and rubbing to the book corners. Browning and some foxing to the text block edges. Browning to the endpapers and to the internal text and there is the occasional handling mark to the page. Illustrated dustwrapper, by Vane Lindsay, with pale green coloured background with white, black and orange titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and chipping, with lost to the dustwrapper corners and backstrip edges. There is a 1 inch tear to the top left-hand corner of the front dustwrapper panel with associated creasing. Rubbing and creasing to the other dustwrapper edges. There is a significant amount of handling marks and some staining to the dustwrapper panels.
