Minor bump into the head and to the heel of the backstrip and rubbing to the book corners. Light dustiness and foxing to the top text block edge. Bumping along the front fore edge of the front book panel. Previous owner's name to the top left-hand corner of the verso of the free front end paper. Illustrated dustwrapper, with white background and black and red titles to the front panel and backstrip. Rubbing and chipping in to the top dustwrapper corners and rubbing to the lower corners. There are two small tears to the top edge of the front dustwrapper panel with a crease adjoining them . rubbing and creasing to both the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and there is a 1" tear to the lower edge of the front dustwrapper panel. Staining to the top edge of the rear panel and the wife of the background has become yellow and shows rubbing and handling marks. The red titles on the backstrip had become quite faded. Staining to the verso of the dustwrapper. Clipping to all corners of the dustwrapper.
