Photographic front cover, showing at Christmas beetle, with black writing on the front panel and spine. Photograph of yellow wattle on the back panel. Rubbing to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. Shelfwear to the lower book edges and the spine gutter creases are quite markedly rubbed. Photographic dust wrapper, same illustration as for front cover, with black writing on the front panel and spine. The dust wrapper is in really shabby shape. Rubbing and chipping, with loss to the dust wrapper corners and to the head and to the heel of the dust wrapper, spine. There is a triangular piece missing to the top left-hand corner of the front panel, with associated creasing. There is a closed tear measuring 2.25 " to the top edge of the rear panel with quite severe creasing. The lower right hand edge of the rear panel has at split measuring 2.5 ". The edge of the dust wrapper is also rubbed and slightly creased. The dust wrapper panels have become rubbed and grubby. Browning and marking to the verso of the dust wrapper. Some discolouration and browning to the extreme edge of the verso of the dust wrapper. There is also a puncture mark to the spine region of the dust wrapper 5.75" from the bottom.
