Blue coloured boards with gilt titles to the backstrip. Plain text dust wrapper with black and pink coloured background with white and black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. The autobiography of Clare Sheridan the English artist who blazed a trail through the early and middle parts of the 20th century. Here she recalls her so journey in Russia after World War I, her experiences capturing in sculpture such people as diverse as Mahatma Gandhi and her cousin Winston Churchill and of her travels through Italy, Germany and France. Softening to the backstrip edges and to the book corners. Browning and discolouration to the book edges and shelfwear to the lower edges. The back panel has become dull, faded and quite grubby. Marks to the front panel have also occurred. Clipping of the dust wrapper, front fold over, lower right-hand corner.
