Softening and rubbing to the back strip edges and book corners with the underlying board of visible to the corners. Rubbing and fading of the cloth of the book and on the front panel there is a " cup ring " on the top left-hand corner. The book edges show wear and bumping. Browning and foxing and marking to the paper edges. Browning and foxing to the endpapers and the free front endpapers missing from both front and back of the book. The front and back hinges have split with underlying webbing visible. Previous owner's name to the top edge of the half title page and initials to the last page of the text as well as initials to the first page of the text.
