The text is illustrated with 2 black-and-white photographs and 16 black and white line drawings. Blue coloured boards with gilt writing on the spine. Bumping to the head and to the heel of the spine and to the book corners. Browning to the paper edges. Offset tanning to the endpapers and there has been browning of the internal pages. The half title page has a crease running the full-length of the page and on page 17/18, there is another crease running along the front edge. Between pages 115/16, there has been a printing fault where the pages had not been completely cut and so previous owner has roughly opened the top edge. Plain text dustwrapper with yellow, red and black background with black and the writing on the front panel and spine. The dustwrapper is rubbed, grubby, faded and a little stained. Chipping and rubbing to the dustwrapper corners. There's a 0.25 " tear to the lower front dustwrapper edge. The verso of the dustwrapper is slightly brown and staining is noticeable to the back, lower dustwrapper edge. In the small book the author expounds his treatment for rheumatism -- small quantities of adrenaline either by mass charge or injection. Size: 12mo (standard paperback).
