The text is illustrated with another 5 black-and-white illustrations and two black-and-white maps. The fore paper edge and bottom paper edge are deckled. Blue coloured boards with self embossed decoration and gilt illustration of a ship on the front and back panels and gilt writing on the spine. Hakluyt Society Second Series, No. 98 (XCVIII).
