The text is illustrated with 9 coloured plates, numerous black and white photographs, black and white line drawings and illustrations. Pale brown boards with gilt writing on the spine. Photographic dustwrapper showing examples of handicrafts, with blue background and white writing on the front panel and spine. This book not only is a guide to the handicrafts described within the book, but it is also a history of the Country Women's Association of Victoria handicrafts and original works done by the members. Inserted loosely into the book is a poster for "North Gippsland Group Country Woman's Association, Exhibition of Work, To Be Held At Maffra". Bumping into the top right-hand corner of the book and the head and heel of spine are bumped. Dust marks to the top paper edge. Faint foxing has occurred to the first few and last few pages of the book. Dustwrapper is rubbed and faded and the corners are slightly chipped. Chipping and creasing has occurred to the top dust wrapper edge. There is a 1" tear at the top spine gutter with associated creasing. Marks and rubs have occurred to the dust at the panels, and on verso of the dustwrapper there are also marks and imperfections. Size: 4to 9¾" - 12" tall. XII, 530 pages,.
