Small octavo, priority unknown to me (although it's dated 1959, the book apparently was printed in the 1960s), pp. 311, 4 (notes), illustrated boards, Edward Gorey illustration. Here Gorey reaches back to the 19th century to put his spin the horror work of great authors including Dickens, Wilkie Collins, Bram Stoker and others. Condition of this book: Dust jacket chipped at edges with short tears, front flap is price-clipped. The book itself is near fine with some rubbing at the edges and corners. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
