With untitled original lithographs by Max Ernst, Jacques Herold, Wilfredo Lam and Dorothea Tanning, plus an original lithograph created at Mourlot Freres after a work by Dali called Appareil et main. The magazine was a biannual covering post-war painting and other arts, publishing into the 1970s. Good copies have become very scarce. Condition of this magazine: Very good with a moderately worn jacket and darkening edges; lithographs fine. Size: Quarto. Text is in French. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
