Octavo, ninth printing, pp. [ii], 735, brown sheep boards with gilt lettering on front, all edges gilt, lacking the original blue wrappers. Shakespeare and Company would do two more printings after this one, ending production in 1930. Most of the surviving copies are in a compromised condition of some sort, and this one fits the pattern. Condition of this book: Covers stained around edges by a leather treatment, backstrip perished, tape in a couple areas, sheep peeling; so, generally poor covers but still attached. Inside very clean with minor foxing to endpapers. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
