JAMES BOSWELL. The Life of Samuel Johnson, L.L.D., in 3 volumes, Dublin: John Chambers (V1), John Ershaw (V2), and Robert Rhames (V3), 1792. Octavo, second edition (pirated -- the first was published in London in 1791), pp. xxxiv, 536; 605; 573, folding Round Robin, folding samples of Johnson's handwriting, bookplate of Mansfield Charles Fuldner, the American artist and collector, tree calf boards with morocco labels to spines.
