H.L. here introduces and comments on 18th-century lectures of Johann. The two were unrelated, although they focused on the same subject matter: quack doctors, religious schemers, and other kinds of fraud. With typography, jacket and binding designed by W.A. Dwiggins; see The Books of WAD, 37.07. Condition of this book: Jacket is chipped at edges, darkened, price-clipped. Leaves age-toned, bottom edge of boards darkened, but overall a very good copy. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
