GUY MARESCAUX. Life Scenes of Japan, Tokyo: Hasegawa, undated (mid-20th century). About 15x10cm, unpaginated with 12 leaves plus covers, all crepe, string-bound, bright color printing. Goes through the year month by month, describing Japanese life through its customs and festivals. Scarce; Worldcat locates 11 copies dated 1931 or 1949, but no others are available in the marketplace at this writing. Condition of this book: Small tear in spine, else fine -- best I've seen of the small Japanese crepe books. Size: 12mo. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing. Quantity Available: 1. Shipped Weight: Under 1 kilo. Category: Art & Design; Japan; Travel & Places. Pictures of this item not already displayed here available upon request. Inventory No: 54679.
