Octavo, pp. xvi, 17-820, brown cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine, gilt seals on front and spine, blind-stamped decoration, illustration, some folding, lacking map, free front endpaper has a gift inscription from James G. Brinkman, who was serving on the City Council at the time of publication. Of prime interest here will be monochrome cityscapes of Wall Street and elsewhere downtown. A pair of color plates show a rural Washington Heights. Condition of this book: Rear cover loose, spine and front cover poor. Plates fine. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Back board is detached. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing. Quantity Available: 1.
