Volumes 6 and 7 of Chateaubriand's complete works, covering his travels in America and Italy. The America reports were first published in 1826. Their accuracy came into question in the 20th century, especially the author's claim to have met with George Washington. Condition of this set: Extremities rubbed, internal foxing, overall good and sound. Size: 16mo (very small). 2-volume set (complete).
