Numerous hand-colored plates plus illustrations in text, headpieces and tailpieces. The author Quitard was actually four writers: Amedee Achard, Taxile Delord, E.D. Forgues and Arnould Fremy. Condition of this book: Covers heavily worn but sound. Minor foxing inside, images fine. Size: Quarto. Text is in French. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
