Quarto, first 6 issues, from September 1887 to February 1888, pp. viii, 276, purple morocco boards three-quarter-bound in brown morocco with gilt lettering to spine, all edges marbled, illustrated. A periodical for collectors, dealers, anybody who was into Americana. Former owner wrote on the free front endpaper: "a mine of information." This is true. Also attached is an old dealer description of the book. The editor, E. de V. Vermont, was so deeply interested in the field that he would publish lists of other magazines' work that was relevant. Condition of this book: Covers worn and blemished, binding very sound. Overall very good. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
