Tall quarto, first edition, pp. xxx, 154, printed boards quarter-bound in black cloth with a paper label on the spine, top edge tinted red, illustration by Edward A. Wilson. Mostly verse, with occasional sheet music. Note laid in presents this copy to Bristow Adams from the residents of Willard Straight Hall at Cornell University. Adams was a longtime professor at Cornell and an illustrator, perhaps best known for his posters, some of which are sold in reprints, with originals commanding high prices. Condition of this book: Near fine with light wear at edges, covers darkening. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
