Sparks added notes on Franklin's original and continued it using papers left by Franklin and other primary sources. He added Franklin's genealogy, journal of a voyage, other journal extracts, proposals relating to education, and other extras including Franklin's will and epitaph. Condition of this book: Covers discolored in spots, sunned at spine. Foxed endpages, offsetting from the illustrations, but overall very good and sound. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
