Front endpages host a splotchy, cartoonish dedication from the author to Arthur Brisbane, the renowned newspaper editor. Kenny worked as an editor at the New York Daily Mirror, a product of the Hearst company, in which Brisbane was prominent. Kenny's poetry is simple, sentimental and meant to appeal to readers who didn't have a lot of time and patience for poetry. Scarce; OCLC locates only two copies. Condition of this book: Covers sunned at edges, ink stains at bottom edge created by the author's drawing. Size: Octavo (standard book size).
