Quarto, first edition, pp. 329, black cloth boards with a white bamboo leaf print across both covers and the spine, red lettering to spine, red label on front, illustrated, original cardboard slipcase. Inscribed poetically by the author on the half-title page, although it's hard to read every word; the sense of it is easily understood (see image). Condition of this book: Jacket toned near edges with a short tear at top of spine, boards have spots of discoloration, overall very good. Size: Quarto. Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
