Oblong folio, unpaginated (front endpage is lacking), printed boards half-bound in vellum, beveled edges, pen-and-ink illustration, no text but for a few captions. One of a series of thematic folios Gibson and Russell published around the turn of the 20th century, when Gibson was at the peak of his popularity. His young female characters, known collectively as The Gibson Girl, were an idealized version the American woman. Condition of this book Covers darkened (as usual), scratched, edges worn, rear joint has a short split. Front hinge cracked, but no loose leaves. Size: Large Folio (bigger than A3). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
