Part of the American Guide Series created by the Works Progress Administration during the Depression to give work to unemployed writers and photographers. Dust jackets for this series can be hard to find, especially with the original price intact on the flap. Condition of this book: Very good with light edge wear and a few small stains. Jacket is chipped, creased and internally reinforced at the spine ends with binder's tape. Map fine. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
