Octavo, first edition, first state, pp. 480, tan cloth boards with blue lettering to spine and orange lettering on front (the later state uses all blue), top edge tinted orange. With Walter P. Chrysler's bookplate and book label attached to the front pastedown. Original price intact on dust jacket. Condition of this book: Jacket looks better than it is, as it has extensive tape repairs on the underside. I would call it fair to good, depending on your feelings about tape repairs. The book is near fine with light rubbing at the bottom edges. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting.
