Coming amid the worst economic times Americans ever faced, this was a thinly veiled justification for a presidency that history has judged harshly. Subsequently Hoover stuck to writing about fishing and other safe topics. Condition of this book: Boards lightly worn with minor rubbing at edges; jacket sunned at spine, with a few chips and minor staining. Leaves clean and tight, darkened at top edge with a few marks. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
