Signed on the half-title page by the artist. Preston (1875-1963) studied under Australian artists and Europeans, returning from Europe to become Australia's most influential artist, fusing aboriginal motifs and contemporary styles. This book includes a complete list of Preston's monotypes and their owners. Condition of this book: Boards scuffed and scratched, slightly bowing but sound. Leaves clean and tight, images fine. Size: Large Folio (bigger than A3). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact.
