Author describes his six-month canoe journey into the Canadian Northwest and Arctic plains on the Peace and Mackenzie rivers, at a time when the area was little explored by white settlers. Condition of this book: A very good, bright copy with light rubbing at boards' edges and a bit of age toning internally. Size: Octavo (standard book size). Text body is clean, and free from previous owner annotation, underlining and highlighting. Binding is tight, covers and spine fully intact. All edges clean, neat and free of foxing.
