The author is the Paris gallerist best known for his massive Picasso catalogue. His focus here is Sardinia's ancient artifacts and architecture, including sculpture of all sorts and military fortifications. All text in Italian. Little else of scholarly use has been written on this civilization, and this particular book is scarce. OCLC locates only one copy in France and two in Italy. Condition: Spine cocked, edges soiled, boards bumped, dust jacket very good, interior very good. Size: Large Folio (bigger than A3). Text is in Italian.
