SYNOPSIS: Alan Savory and his wife spent five enthralling months in south-east Africa in the late 1950's. The bought a car and travelled through the Kruger National Park and other game reserves. They fished the great Zambezi and went big game fishing off the coast. Early in the book the author says they were keen to see this part of Africa as they'd heard that the wildlife was becoming scarce. Just imagine what it must have been like sixty years ago.
