This is a set of two original Georgian copperplate engravings, each featuring two images: 'Habit of the Lady Mayoress of London in 1640', 'Habit of a Merchants Wife of London in 1640', 'Habit of the Lord Mayor of London in 1640, and Habit of a Merchant of London about 1640'. Taken from 'New and Universal History, Description and Survey of the Cities of London and Westminster, The Borough of Southwark and their adjacent parts' by Walter Harrison, Esq. Edges are mostly neat with some very minor tears and creases, though these would not be visible under a mount. Will be promptly posted rolled up in a stout tube.
